Hi my name is Monika. I’ve been a hairstylist for many years, both here in Halifax and in Europe. I love all aspects of my profession and enjoy meeting very interesting people every day!

Jamie
 Jamie joined the Sykea team in the summer of 2004, bringing with him unique energy and a passion for the industry. Jamie is excited to offer his clients the full range of hair services, cutting and color, as well as his expertise in working with Goldwell's Elumin Hair Color.

Sarah
 Sarah graduated top of her class from Concepts School of Cosmetology in hairstyling. After completing this course Sarah decided to further herself by becoming a make-up artist as well. Sarah has a fun and energetic outlook on all aspects of hairstyling with a love for the styling aspect from blow-outs to updos Sarah truly enjoys working with hair for the finished product. Whether it be a special occasion, a night on the town, or any day, stop by and have the full treatment from hair to make-up with Sarah.

Katie
 Katie has a fun, energetic, upbeat personality and welcomes new clients to her chair. Her creativity and drive for perfection make her an excellent choice for updos an precision cutting techniques. Her awareness for the latest trends and flare for style makes her the perfect choice for your next cut and colour. Katie pays close attention to her consultations with clients to make them feel and look their very best.

Carolyn
 Carolyn is a native of Halifax. She has been in the industry for the past decade. Most of her career was spent working in Toronto; where she did her advanced training with acclaimed stylist David Hillis. Here she honed her skills in both precision cutting and colour techniques. During her time in Toronto she was a stylist for Paramount Pictures, City LV and worked a variety of fashion shows including fashion cares. Carolyn’s passion for hair is evident in her work. She is considerate in listening to her clients’ needs and creating a look that is completely tailored for their lifestyle. Weddings are also one of her favourite aspects of her job- she relishes in creating a beautifully, organic, hairstyle for your special day. Carolyn is very happy to be back in Halifax and looks forward to seeing you in her chair.
