John
 John Stappas been in the hairstyling industry since 1985; working throughout Europe, Canada, and the United States. After many years of international recognition, John settled in Halifax and opened Sykea Hair Salon in 1995. With John's creative and energetic approach to hairstyling, his work has been featured in many prominent magazines, as well as leading Canadian pop-rock videos and album covers. John was one of the creative forces, producer and the host, of the Halifax-based television show "FASHION FOCUS"

Corissa
 Corissa Stappas has been in the world of colour for the past 15 years; not only as a Colour Technician, but as a salon and technical Educator. The diversity of Corissa's work and talent has been featured on many leading manufacturers platforms across the nation. She currently co-heads the technical department at Sykea Hair Salon in Halifax. Corissa was also one of the members of the Sykea Artistic Team featured on the Maritime television show "FASHION FOCUS".

Shawn
 Shawn McGowan has been in the hair industry for the better part of twenty years, and has been a part of the Sykea artistic team for close to six years. An award winning stylist, and former shop owner, Shawn brings his talents and enthusiasm to work daily, and his clients love him for it. His confident approach to hairstyling, and his up to date fashion sense, make him a valuable member of the Sykea team.

Christeen
 As a Master colourist and stylist, Christeen is our curly hair expert. She is also known for her attention to detail creating strikingly beautiful precision bobs.
Whether working on stage, doing in-salon education or her real passion of working behind the chair, Christeen’s career has spanned over 20 years and taken her to Greece and back. Christeen welcomes you to our Halifax salon in the historic Westin hotel.

Marion
 Marion Dobson's hairstyling career began in 1978, where she has been active as both a stylist and an educator. She has received advanced training from Vidal Sassoon in Los Angeles, as well as Jingles International in San Francisco. Marion holds a Master Instructors License, and enjoys all aspects of hair design. She also offers complimentary consultations for new clients.
